Haiku (Saturday, Thanksgiving, Christmas)
By D. J.
I wake upĀ
I don't have to go to school
I can enjoy my day
The family gets together
We say what we are thankful for
Then we get ready to eat
I wake up in the morning
It's a lot of gifts under the tree
and love what I got
By N. T.
It's the seventh day
Tomorrow will be the next week
It's Saturday, enjoy
It's a holiday
It is a day we give thanks
It's Thanksgiving Day
"I Don't Care"
My enemy cried
I do not care about him
So, I walked off
By K. R.
"Do They"
Maybe they do feel -
the pain I suffer all day
or maybe they don't
"Proud One"
Stand Straight and big grins
The day is done with work gone
Sleep well now, proud one
"Shadows"
The shadows laugh loud
Mocking each move, makes me guess
in their trap, I fall

"School"
This school is amazing, but it's old
It's really small and it's really cold
The teachers are awesome
Students act like possums
The school is great, but it does have mold
By K. R.
"Sandwich"
The lettuce is too wet for the bread
Mayo too white, tomato is too red
I choose Punch to drink all day
Screw this, I'll go to Subway
But Subway is too far for me tread

"Winter"
Winter is cold, it always makes me freeze
The wind blows, my body starts to shiver
When we are outside, the worst part is the breeze
At the park, I see a frozen river
Before I go outside, I dress up warm
I grab some bread and make some crumbs outside
I see a flock of bird that start to swarm
I grab my sled and find a place to slide
I go inside to find something to eat
Heartburn comes and I take me some Tums
Into the kitchen and take my seat
All is well, off to the garage to play drums
Its chilly, I decide to use the heater
I grab some wood to burn, it's cedar
