After completing the enrollment process, each family is asked to donate 3 hours of active engagement in the classroom per week. Activities might include, but are not limited to, participating in a literature discussion, re-teaching a math concept, aiding a science experiment, offering feedback on student writing, facilitating a project-based learning choice, and/or chaperoning a field study.

No teaching knowledge or experience needed - at the beginning of the year all parents attend a training session that helps you contribute effectively during your volunteer time.
