ABOUT MS. KARCHER - Primary Teacher

Ms. Karcher has been teaching for twenty-four years. She is GATE certified in the district, as well as the state of California, and has been a Cotsen Fellow for the last two years, with an emphasis on reading and social-emotional learning. She strongly believes in the importance of individualized learning and student choice. She is married, with four children, all of whom attended Fullerton schools, and Ms. Karcher herself is a product of the Fullerton school system. She loves travel, adventure, and walking around her neighborhood.

ABOUT MS. KELLER - Upper Teacher

Mrs. Keller is a product of the Fullerton School District, and attended college in Fullerton, earning her BS in Child Development at CSUF and then her Multi-Subject Bilingual Teaching Credential. Twenty-five years later she returned to CSUF and earned a Masters in Educational Leadership along with an Administrative Credential. She has taught every grade from K-6.

For fifteen years Mrs. Keller was on special assignment for the Fullerton School District. She served as the Healthy Start Coordinator and then the Executive Director of the Fullerton Collaborative, which brings together Fullerton non-profits. She worked on Gang Prevention, Obesity Prevention, and Homelessness, amongst other social issues. During this time, she was also elected to the Fullerton City Council where she served for two years as the Mayor Pro-Tem.

Mrs. Keller began teaching in the multi-age program is 2013. She loves the relationships that have been built over the years. She particularly enjoys bringing in the community to our program and taking the students outside the classroom walls to learn about the world around us.
