Friday's library read-aloud with Mrs. Amber. We listened to "Negative Cat," the first book nominated for California Young Reader Primary.

This week, lions learned how to put a "hold" on their book using Alexa with Mrs. Amber.

Ah...a book reading with friends.

A lesson on "bullying from the bully's point of view."

Being on the "bully's shoes," crumbling and stomping the papers. Then seeing it sat on our desks.

After apologizing to our crumbled and beaten paper, we tried to fix them by straightening it out, but it did not return to the original shape.

Reflecting on how it felt to be bullied.

Trying to "fix our mistakes" and making our "bullied paper" feel better. No matter how much we say, "sorry," or iron the paper, the scars will always be there. Let's remember that bullying is not nice and it hurts forever.

Friday's Library Day!

Lions chose the next 2 books to check out to read for the week.

Don't forget to return 2 library books every Friday morning, or you won't be able to do a new check-out for the week!

Artists were taking pictures with the iPad's camera from the Bird-Eye-View with ATA teacher, Ms. Marleen!

M & M Graphing Data Math Project! Lions learned how to create a Tally Table, Frequency Table, Bar Graph, Picture Graph, and Line Plot. Mathematicians also learned how to analyze the data as well! The best part is eating the M&M manipulatives at the end! YUM!!!

Analyzing data: Least, most, fewer than, more than...

Sounding and blending our weekly spelling words in Seesaw recording

First typing practice using the "Typing Club app!" It took getting used to, placing both hands on the keyboard, but lions were doing it!

Our very first, Friday's Typing Club practice! Lions were super excited to place their hands on the correct position of the keyboard, and learned to type one letter at a time!

This is our library's map on finding Fiction, Non-Fiction, Everyone Book and Espanol books! What's an organization! Thank you Mrs. Amber!

Lions learned from our librarian Ms. Amber how to read the call number on the book spine. Now, we can search and find the book we want to read before and during Friday's Library Time.

Science Investigation: What makes bridges strong? Scientists placed coins (people) and added to the bridge to see how many coins can the bridge hold?

Wow!!! It finally collapsed with at least 80 coins!
