January 2024  Recap

It's so much fun reading with friends on Friday Library Day!

All the Arts teacher, Mrs. B, taught third graders to think and create like an architect, designing their home using a blue print.

Math RTI teacher, Mrs. Fernandez demonstrated the "3 Read Protocol" in solving 2-step math problems to our third graders.

This was a great tool to "add to our math tool belt." Thank you, Mrs. Fernandez!

EL learners practice reading, writing and listening skills for their upcoming ELPAC tests in mid-late February.

Our goal is to "familiarize" third graders with the testing platform, which is very different from second grade, so that they can be more successful test takers. Students are encouraged to practice on their own at home logging in as "guest."

Tree Print-making visual art lesson with Mrs. Bargman (Mrs. B) on Thursdays!

Library read aloud with Mrs. Amber...finishing the last book before the "vote!"

Friday's library visit. There's nothing better than reading a book when the weather is cold outside!

Happy New Year, Lions and Families!

Here's to a healthy, happy, and wonderful 2024, filled with love, laughter, and lots of learning!

Sharing our New Year's goals with peers! (Absent: Janelly and Gracie A.)
