The Myerstown Hometown Hero banner project was started in April 2022 by Amber Leedom. Beginning as a Girl Scout project to achieve her Gold Award. In July 2023, the Myerstown Vitality Partnership took over this project. This project focuses on recognizing the military veteran community in Myerstown. We concentrate on honoring the local veterans by displaying their rank, branch, and the war they participated in during their service.
