Welcome, if you've landed here, it must be God's will. Please Explore and see.
Dear readers, tonight I felt that the Lord gave me some information I need to share. This is concerning our walk of faith.
Now, on to the meat of this commentary. It was brought to my understanding this evening that, as we walk thru life, as we are confronted with circumstances, sometimes out of our normal range of control, we have to try always to let God take th
What does that mean?
Do you see a little child? Matthew 19:14-1715 And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. 17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
Matthew 18: 1At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? 2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
So as you can see, the best way to exercise your faith is to be converted into the mind of a child!
It means that we have to step back and in every situation, we have to say to God, Okay Lord, help me to put away my pride in everything and if you want me to die, I will die, if you want me to live in a homeless shelter I will live in a homeless shelter. God, if these circumstances go completely wrong and I end up...... (you fill in the blanks..) I will accept it as your will.
This doesn't mean we don't make the best decisions possible.
It doesn't mean we don't try our best to do what is right, what is acceptable, what is within our limits and maybe what is even a little or a lot out of our comfort zone.
Ephesians 5:1-8 1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. 3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
It may even mean going against a rule, of sorts, depending on what that rule is. Ultimately, we have to let God have full control, we have to trust in God that HIS sovereignty is what HE says it is and what Paul says it is, in many ways, it is a test not only of our faith, but for God to do what He says HE is able to do!
If you have conscientiously been trying to live each day under God's microscope, so to speak, what I mean is in obedience to His word, then God will come through for you in every circumstance.
He only lets us flounder when we haven't utilized our faith enough in the past to test His diligence in taking care of us. I am only able to write this because of my own experience. I am not a weather forecaster. I am not a second guesser, I am not a fortune teller, I am a believer living out my faith walk, halfway around the world from where I was born and lived the majority of my life.
This my dear friends and brother and sisters in Christ, this is my story. This is my reality. God took me from Michigan in the United States, to live almost 8 years in Hong Kong and then because of circumstances, I moved to the Philippines in 2016 where I have resided ever since!
If you want to read the verses on faith, you can do it in Hebrews 11, and if you need to know more, please read the page faith or suffering, also read the poem I wrote on faith and greatest of all, consult your bible on the subject.

My hope for you is that you have had a prayer of salvation, and if you haven't and you want to ask Christ into your heart and life, then I offer these words for you to repeat, but only if your heart is sincere, because God knows it if you're not.

Dear God, I now know I have needed you and have rejected your calling, so today, right now, I ask Jesus Christ to come into my heart and my life, and forgive me from all past sin and Lord cleanse me from my unrighteousness. I believe that Jesus was crucified for my sin, died, and was buried and rose from the dead according to the scriptures. I want you forever more to be my guide and I want to follow you as a believer. I ask for your strength to change my heart and my earthly ways so that I can become a better child in your kingdom. Show me how to depend on you in all things. And show me how to do your will in my life. I thank you and pray this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
