Choose a pathway that is right for you
Our courses offer a great amount of flexibility so that our undergraduates can progress in a pathway which is right for them. For example:
- Elective module choices at levels 5 and 6
- Coursework and study topics which are in self-selected areas of interest
- Final year research project in a selected specialist area
- Opportunity to apply for a work placement year in year 3
- Option to progress onto an MSci/MChem year after level 6 study
Further study options
As well as our integrated MSci/MChem year, the Department of Biosciences and Chemistry also has a portfolio of taught Masters courses to which our graduates are able to apply:
- MSc Molecular Microbiology
- MSc Cancer Biology
- MSc Pharmacology & Biotechnology
- MSc Analytical Chemistry
- MSc Biomedical Laboratory Sciences
We also offer PhD studentships in our Biomolecular Sciences Research Centre.
Graduates also go onto other post graduate courses in areas such as teaching, medicine, business, radiotherapy and other allied health professions.
