Within this section you will engage with a number of resources that are essential for developing your skills and knowledge around Basic Life Support, patient assessment and venepuncture
We have collated a range of key resources to help you consider Basic Life Support and the UK resuscitation council (UK)'s guidance in light of COVID-19
Before the session:
Please look at the resources in Sections 1 and complete the quiz accessed via Blackboard
On completion of the face to face session you will be able:
Deliver standardised CPR in infants/children
Recognise and treat a choking infant/child
Demonstrate the recovery position technique
Understand the importance of PPE when delivering CPR
After the session:
Familiarise yourself with the additional links and resources provided

You should have already completed the Child BLS Quiz as part of your mandatory requirements for this MSc course and achieved 80%.
If you have not done this you must do so prior to the face to face session as there will not be any scope to address the theory in the face to face session. The face to face session will solely be devoted to practising BLS techniques.
