The Elbow
A 45 year old male office worker attends physio with right lateral elbow discomfort which started after putting up a fence in the garden. He complains of stiffness when trying to straighten his elbow and some pain with gripping.

The Wrist & Hand
A 64 year old women slipped on the ice and sustained a right colles fracture 6 weeks ago. Recently the plaster of Paris (POP) has been removed. Her main complaint is stiffness and some pain when opening doors.
A 35 year old secretary fell skating 8 weeks ago and sustained a left wrist fracture, this was in plaster of Paris (POP) for 6 weeks. Unfortunately she missed her outpatient appointment and now 8 weeks post injury attends physio as she is still struggling to type comfortably.
A 45 yr old male fell from a ladder landing on an outstretched hand, sustaining a right colles fracture. After 6 weeks the POP was removed and in spite of advice to mobilise came to clinic 6 weeks later (12 weeks post fracture). He complained of difficulty pouring shampoo using his fracture hand due to stiffness.
