OVERVIEW OF PROJECT:

It has been building and devolving schools under UK department of education plans to give them access to a new library learning centre with classrooms and IT suites . This new addition to the library will be built behind the current structure and will feature IT labs, classrooms, research, teaching and other multifunctional areas. The goal of this website is to provide interested parties with a suggested phasing plan for high Storrs School's architecture and execution. The current main school building, which will remain operational throughout the development, is not distant from the new construction. The simple decision to place the entire programme on two floors served as the foundation for the new facility's design. Construction will continue during the summer holiday. A sheffield Technical college was founded on 10 March 1880 ,located in the heart of sheffield with Mr.A.F. McBean serving as its first principal. In 1895, it constructed a new educational wing and began teaching science to only males. The university received formal recognition in 1904. In 1906 the university was split into two , one for boys and one for females. In 1933, it migrated to its current home in High Storrs. Until 2015, The old centralians was a group for former students.

PROPOSAL:-

The following are the major reasons for creating the library:

*Creating libraries for staff and students.

*Using IT suites to improve information availability and preserve academic data digitally for teachers and students.

*Lecture halls where classes will be held.

This building would be used as a school library. The automatic doors will be designed at the building's entrance and it will open into the main space, allowing wheelchair access and saving electricity. This library will provide reading rooms, IT suites, classrooms, pre-book study halls, an appropriate waiting area, and accessible restrooms. In addition to the restrooms in the main school building, there will be two separate restrooms for both genders. The learners like 24-hour access to the library, even on public holidays.

Students will be able to interact with specialized library workers if they require assistance. The building's layout consists of two floors, making it easy to access while also providing the front desk with sufficient overnight and visibility. Fire hydrants and fire alarms have been provided as standard safety measures. In the event of an unforeseen fire, there is a second exit route.
