Before You Order
If you have submitted all required application packet documents, or you are confident that all remaining documentation will be turned in by close of business Thursday, June 18th, you may proceed with purchasing your uniform. (Please note: our campus is closed on Fridays during the summer schedule — all documents are due by June 19th, but must be received no later than close of business June 18th.)
How to Order
Sponsored by an agency (paid attendee): Contact your recruiter before ordering. Each sponsoring agency has its own ordering process so that the agency — not you — is billed. Your agency will not purchase through the public store — however, you are welcome to visit the store yourself to purchase any additional items you'd like that your agency is not covering.

Sizing & Fit — Important
PCC BLET policy requires all cadets to wear a ballistic vest under their uniform shirt while in uniform. The vest adds bulk, so please account for this when selecting your shirt size.

If you cannot visit in person, review the sizing guides in the online store carefully. Uniforms are custom ordered and personalized — they cannot be exchanged.
Required Uniform Bundle
All cadets must purchase the following minimum bundle through the online store:
2 PCC Approved Short Sleeve Uniform Shirts
2 Pairs of Tactical Duty Pants
1 PCC Approved Hat
1 PCC Crewneck Sweatshirt
1 Nylon Duty Belt
4 Nylon Belt Keepers
2 PCC Blue Performance Short Sleeve Shirts
A note on quantities: The required bundle includes only 2 uniform shirts and 2 pairs of pants. Many cadets find that keeping up with laundry during the academy is challenging — between long days and weekend studying, it adds up quickly. You are welcome to order additional shirts and pants at any time through the online store so that laundry is one less thing to worry about. This is something worth considering when you place your initial order, or after your first few weeks in the academy.

These items are not included in the bundle. They are available in the optional section of the online store or may be purchased from a retailer of your choice.
Uniform Shoes
Must be all black — no exceptions
Preferred option: All-black tennis shoes
Alternative option: Tennis shoe–style boots (must not have speed hooks/lace hooks — the open metal hooks found on many boots that laces wrap around rather than thread through; these can damage mat room equipment)
A logo smaller than 1" x 1" is permissible, but must be blacked out with a permanent marker
Black Socks
Required with uniform; length is cadet's preference
Black Undershirt
Required under the uniform shirt
⚠️ Note: Academy policy currently references a white undershirt. That policy is being updated to reflect the black undershirt requirement prior to July 8, 2026, in alignment with our new uniform vendor. Black undershirts are required.
Physical Fitness Attire
Black shorts or black sweatpants
If wearing shorts: must not be tight-fitting, must reach at least fingertip length with arms at your sides, and compression shorts are required underneath
A separate pair of athletic shoes for PT sessions (any color)
A Note for Later in the Academy
As seasons change or uniform items wear out, you will be directed back to the online store to order additional items such as long sleeve shirts or sweatshirts. Only one crewneck sweatshirt is required at the start, but many cadets find they want an extra — our classrooms can be cold and the sweatshirt is worn year-round by many students.
The PCC crewneck sweatshirt is the only approved outerwear. Outside coats and jackets are not permitted in uniform. You may purchase additional sweatshirts or long sleeve items at any time through the online store, so keep the link handy: 🌐 https://pittcclaw.itemorder.com/shop/home/
