All prospective students must complete an approved English and reading test to meet the BLET reading benchmark. This is required to enroll in the BLET program, as students must be able to read and comprehend at a tenth-grade level.Â
After submitting your application to the Pitt Community College BLET program and receiving your letter of acceptance, please contact the Pitt Community College Placement Testing Center to schedule your reading assessment. Testing is by appointment only. Bring your photo ID to your appointment, and leave cellphones and all other electronic devices in your vehicle.
