MANDATORY REGISTRATION DAY INSTRUCTIONS

Registration Day — Thursday, December 17, 2026

First Day of Academy - Tuesday, January 5, 2027

Attendance on Registration Day is mandatory — no exceptions.

Registration Day is Thursday, December 17, 2026. Please plan to arrive and be seated in the classroom no later than 7:45 AM. Registration Day hours are 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

You may wear casual clothing on Registration Day. Please note that all cadets must be in uniform beginning January 5, 2027 — visit our Uniforms page for ordering information and deadlines.

Required Items to Bring

Please have the following with you on Registration Day:

• USB flash drive (Walmart, Amazon, Office Depot, Target, Best Buy)

• Pens and/or pencils

• Highlighters (optional)

• Notecards (optional)

• 3-inch clear view 3-ring binder with front cover pocket (any solid color)

• Notebook paper

• Lock (combination or key — 2 keys required if key lock)

• Laptop carrying case, bag, or backpack

• Water bottle with secure lid (optional)

Policy Manual

The current academy policy manual has been available on this website since your informational session. We encourage you to read through it and familiarize yourself with its contents before Registration Day. 

A policy review will be conducted during the first two days of the academy, giving cadets an opportunity to ask questions before a 20-question policy test is administered.
