The CNMI Scholarship Office (CSO) was established for the purpose of assisting eligible residents who wish to pursue their post-secondary studies from within or outside of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI). Also, CSO is committed to assisting and offering financial aid for those who wish to develop their skills at the Northern Marianas Technical Institute (NMTI), Latte Training Academy (LTA), or any trade institution in the United States or its territories.
Available for eligible full-time EAP recipients who have declared a major in the following fields of study:
EAP Base Grant (EAPBG) is for all eligible full-time applicants regardless what the field of study.
Baccalaureate Eligible full-time EAG recipients who are pursuing a bachelor's degree in any discipline will qualify for an additional amount.

Commonwealth College Access Grant (CCAG) is available for eligible high school students wishing to accelerate into a college degree program at the Northern Marianas Colleges.
Marianas Employees Financial Aid (MEFA) is designed to assist eligible applicants who are employed full-time but wish to pursue their post-secondary studies or a certificate and are enrolled part-time at the Northern Marianas College or an accredited online program.
Nursing School Scholarship is available for eligible Nursing majors pursuing an associate degree within/outside of the Commonwealth.
WICHE (Western Undergraduate Program (WUE) Student tuition savings at participating institutions.
NURSING SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP Eligible applicants will receive up to $8,000 per annum.

Maximum term award: $1,350.00
Commonwealth College Access Grant (CCAG) All interested applicants must have a high school cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.75 or higher, be registered part-time (1-11 credits) for college-level courses (No non-developmental courses or repeated courses) at Northern Marianas College, and hold a maintaining CGPA of 2.75. This aid is to be used only for college tuition, fees, books, and any other cost-related expense toward obtaining a college degree.
An applicant must create a student profile, complete the online application, and submit a completed PACKET no later than the following established annual deadlines.
Interested students' parents/legal guardians must meet the following requirements if they are not registered, voters:
Must NOT be a citizen of the United States;
Submit copies of CNMI 1040 showing paid taxes for 3 consecutive years prior to enrollment; and/or
Employment verification for the last consecutive three years prior to enrollment.

enrolled in 12 or more credits or what your institution deems full-time
Proof of Major
Should be provided within your acceptance letter, official transcript, or class schedule.
Proof of Citizenship
Valid copy of a U.S. Passport or a birth certificate accompanied by a valid government-issued ID
Proof that you are a CNMI Registered Voter.
Only applicable if you have already voted.
Proof of three (3) years of consecutive CNMI residency; proof of residency years required are subject to change based on each academic year (e.g. SY 2023-2024 is 2022, 2021, 2020). Examples of acceptable documents to prove CNMI residency:
CNMI annual 1040 (applicant must be either listed as taxpayer or dependent);
Employment Verification;
Transcripts;
Military orders;
Voter’s Certification Reports (VCR); and/or,
Certified Medical/Dental visit dates may be used to prove residency.
