A very BIG thank you to Mr Gunn from the disbanded Portgordon Fireworks Committee for their generous donation - the children really enjoyed the Panto yesterday!
Thank you for spreading your kindness!! What super generosity from Portgordon Primary School, for our first collection for the Food Bank.

Please remember that Monday and Tuesday are staff In-Service days. The school will be closed to pupils.
Moray Food Plus is working hard to support people who through no fault of their own find themselves in crisis. Reasons for this are varied but include changes in personal circumstances, illness, welfare reform, low income, and unexpected bills.
Non-perishable items you may wish to donate, include:
tinned food
nappies
packets of soup
pasta
There is an app which you can download, called Bank the Food. It shows you urgently needed items using a red amber green system.
The Parent Project: Support for Parents and Carers in Moray
Overview
In partnership with Moray Council, the Parent Project remains a FREE and invaluable source of support for parents and carers of children and young people aged 4 to 18 years. The Project offers a range of online and in-person information workshops, as well as peer support sessions, taking place over the next six weeks. (see below for details) . Additional in-person events are arranged as and when requested by individual schools as further information will be available on these.
Workshops and Individualised Support
Participants have the opportunity to enhance their understanding of important issues affecting children and young people, such as anxiety, emotional regulation, low self-esteem and confidence, stress, the transition from primary to secondary school, and managing neurodiversity. Alongside this, parents and carers will be provided with practical strategies and a toolkit designed to help them support their child or young person effectively.
Flexible Support Options
In addition to group events, the Parent Project also offers individualised one-to-one support with a trained professional. These sessions can be in person, by telephone or video. Our trained staff will listen to your concerns, address the challenges faced by your child or young person, and provide tailored advice and guidance. Parents and carers can choose how they wish to receive this support, as well as the frequency that best suits individual needs.
