Online Safety
Anytime young people are online they must take some simple steps to remain safe. Ensuring passwords are secure, keeping personal information private and having good cyber habits are all vital to having a positive online experience.
COVID-19 has increased our online usage and interactions. Engaging with social media, online learning or just surfing the internet is fun and connects us to our friends, family and the wider world. Whilst there are so many positives, it is also important to understand the potential negatives too. Social media, like all forms of communication comes with some risks. While not all risks turn into actual problems, knowing about them can be an important step in protecting yourself and your family. It is important to help your child understand how to protect themselves and assess against any risks.
