Download Microsoft Office Suite for free

Office 365 Pro Plus allows all Glow users to download the latest version of the Microsoft Office Suite on to a total of 15 home machines and personal devices, free of charge.

This provides access to a range of products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and OneNote. Glow users can download the Microsoft Office Suite on to five PCs or Macs, five tablets and five phones.

Learners should be encouraged to seek permission before downloading new software, especially on shared devices.  Younger Learners may require assistance during the installation process, which will require them logging into Glow to access the Download Office Now Tile which can be found in the Scottish Launch Pad.

After Clicking on the tile the Learner will be prompted to Install Office.  This will download the software and any onscreen prompts or instructions should be followed.

When logging in to Microsoft, you will be asked to enter your username – this is your Glow username plus the domain e.g. gw15examplejames@glow.sch.uk. You will then be transferred to the Glow login screen.

Once you have entered your login details here, your registration will be complete. The Glow username will only activate the software for as long as that account is active in Glow.
