Children are the foundation of our future. In order to reach our goal of eliminating health disparities, we must also bring about a similar mindset in today's youth. We believe that leading by example through involvement in service, exposing children to varying careers, and promoting the possibility of living a life full of purpose will all aid in the development of a courageous, compassionate, and confident future generation. We will be visiting the Boys and Girls Club of the Masten District and painting pumpkins with about 90 children for our youth-centered service day.

Plan of action:

We will be hosting a pumpkin-painting event at the Boys and Girls Club of the Masten District. With about 90 kids, our 29 students will be supplying pumpkins and paint in order to provide these kids with a fun, fall-themed activity. As an organization within walking distance from our school, we hope to build relationships with these children of our community, learn about their lives, and lead through example by showing the importance of serving others.
