Being an ally to LGBTQ+ individuals and communities is a process, and something that a person has to work on every day. While we can't give any one person a definitive list of actions to take to be a supportive and helpful ally in every situation, here are some links to get you started.

PFLAG is a national organization to provide support, information, and resources for LGBTQ+ people, their parents and families, and allies. There is even a chapter in the Buffalo/Niagara Area!
Attend Unity Meetings and Events, and be public and open about your membership and participation
Familiarize yourself with campus resources so you can help those who ask
Add your pronouns to your email signature
Be willing to correct those who misgender or deadname someone
Consider inviting Unity to participate or collaborate for events and meetings
