The Canisius Counseling Center, a free resource for students. Located in Bosch Hall 105, the counselors are available for any mental health support students may need.
Make a bias report that will go directly to the Canisius Bias Resource and Response Team. A bias incident is an incident motivated, in whole or in part, by the offender's bias against the actual or perceived age, creed, color, disability, gender, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or any other protected status of the targeted person or group, and may or may not rise to the level of a criminal offense.

GLYS WNY offers LGBT youth support, offering a variety of opportunities & services for LGBTQ+ youth and their friends, ages 5-21. They provide a safe and positive environment for LGBTQ+ youth to learn more about themselves through peer interaction and educational experiences. The organization creates opportunities for emotional growth and community awareness.

GLAAD protects all that has been accomplished and creates a world where everyone can live the life they love. They also have a resource list to find additional information.
The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) young people under 25. Their hotline number is 1-866-488-7386.
Trans Lifeline connects trans people to the community support and resources they need to survive and thrive. Their hotline is (877) 565-8860, and they have a policy against non-consensual active rescue. They are run by and for trans people. They also have a family hotline for friends and family of transgender people to provide peer support.
