Greetings!
I've been teaching in the MWCSD since 2001 and have taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. I spent the 2016-17 school year with the G & T Department, and I'm so happy to return! I come from a background in Environmental Science and Elementary Education, and I love working with creative and inquisitive minds. Here at Pine Tree I facilitate the outdoor classroom (garden) , and enjoy getting students to explore project-based learning inside and outside of the traditional classroom. I spend most of my time with my family and friends, gardening, hiking, reading, writing poetry, song-writing, rescuing cats, and playing music. Having raised my two children in MW, I feel a strong sense of community here and look forward to making new connections with my students.
