Hi! I have been working with EXPAND here at MW for the past 25 years. Some of the places I have taught include Arizona, Connecticut, Washington DC and England!
I graduated from SUNY Oneonta with a degree in Psychology. After a year or so I decided that what I really wanted to do was teach! So, I returned to Oneonta to complete a second degree, this time in Elementary Education.
I have been a classroom teacher for grades Kindergarten, 3rd, and 5th. While I was working down in our nation's capital I took advantage of the opportunity to get my Masters Degree from the University of Virginia; Educational Psychology with a specialty in Gifted Education.
I am excited to be certified in SCUBA diving and spent time under the sea in the Florida Keys and Cozumel. What an adventure!
Some of the things that I enjoy are: line dancing, reading, playing with my nephews, jigsaw puzzling, watching old movies, golfing, eating sushi and watching New York sports.
