Follow-up Letter

Driving Question:  What is a follow-up letter and why is it important after an interview?

When you walk out the door after a job interview, you still have one more chance to make a great impression.  An effective follow-up letter or email message should include an expression of gratitude for the opportunity to interview. Employers will often gauge your professionalism and motivation to work with them based on the quality of your communication after your meeting.

Research follow-up letter templates online, and choose one of the templates to create your personal letter to a future employer.  Download the template and save a copy in your Google Drive to later submit to your instructor.
