About me

Hi! I'm Mrs. St. Pierre! I love teaching. I grew up in Peachtree City, Georgia and moved to the Northeast after graduating from college. My husband Nathan is a firefighter, and we have three children that we love spending time with at home. Our son Brady is in eighth grade this year, our daughter Hannah is in sixth grade, and our daughter Lillian is starting kindergarten! We live in Harrisville, Rhode Island. Although family takes up most of my free time, I do love baking and reading. I have 3 brothers and sisters, but only one lives nearby. I especially love summer because my sisters usually get a chance to come visit with their families. There’s nothing like fun cousin time!

I started teaching at H.P. Clough Elementary in 2004. My passion is second grade, and I absolutely love teaching seven and eight year olds. It is my hope that I can instill a love for learning in my students. My goal is for each child to leave my class not just prepared for the next grade, but to have evolved into a knowledgeable, problem-solving, self-motivated thinker.

This is going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures. I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Communication with parents is key to a successful year!
