All About Me
Hello there! My name is Melissa Clark. I am a second grade teacher at Clough. I grew up in Hopedale and graduated from Hopedale High School in 2000. After graduating High School, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Salve Regina University in 2004 and received my Master's Degree in Education in 2007 from Salem State University. I am approaching my eighteenth year as an educator in the Mendon-Upton School District (I still can't believe I've been teaching that long!) I spent five years teaching first grade at Memorial School in Upton and I am approaching my fourteenth year teaching second grade here at Clough. My heart lies with second grade. I love teaching with some of my best friends and coming to school every day is something I look forward to! I wouldn't trade it for the world!
My Family
I live in Blackstone with my family. I have a son, Cooper, who will be in Sixth Grade this year. My youngest son, Kian, is going into Second Grade! We love to spent time outside! Both of my boys play football and baseball, so I enjoy always being on the sidelines and watching as many games as I can! We enjoy the beach, riding our bikes, going on walks and finding new hiking trails, and enjoy vacationing in Wells, Maine and the Cape.
