Honors College

  • The Honors College provides an alternate general education curriculum for high-achieving students. Students need ONE of the following to be eligible to apply:

      • 28+ ACT or 1300+ SAT

      • 3.8 GPA

      • Top 10% of their graduating high school class

  • The Honors Curriculum is made up of the following:

      • 8-9 Honors seminars

      • Math, science and foreign language requirements

      • A study abroad requirement

      • A senior Honors thesis

  • Honors students must 1) take at least one Honors seminar per semester until they have completed the required seminars and 2) maintain at least a 3.2 Cumulative GPA.

  • Admitted Honors students have priority living status on the Honors wings of Franklin Residential Hall, but they are not required to live in Franklin.
