• Transcripts sent to postsecondary institutions via Parchment (past graduates/students) and via email (current students only)

• Enrollment questions

• Withdrawals

• Students files/permanent records

• Letters of enrollment (usually need for social security, etc)

• Coordination of lunch visits

• I graduated from Georgia College & State University (B. S. in Psychology, Minor in Spanish) and Valdosta State University (ME.D. & ED.S. in School Counseling)

• I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, & have my own private practice

• I am trained in Trauma Informed Yoga and hope to host a Yoga/Mindfulness club in the AM this school year

• I am a 4th generation educator (a school counselor and college professor)- my great grandmother was a teacher in a one room schoolhouse!

• I am married to Mitchell, and we have a 3.5 year old named Jasper

• I am a 5th generation farmer! My husband and I own a farm, and we raise goats, sheep, chicken (for eggs and for meat), and pigs! We have two farm dogs, Smoky and Luna, and lots of farm cats - Eskie, Eerie, Marthie Ann, Dottie & kittens!

• I love baking sourdough in my spare time and have written a cookbook with my mother in law, Karen Ehman, with lots of my sourdough recipes included!

• I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's in Education

• I live in Chatsworth with my husband, Billy, and our two dogs, Frankie and Sally.

• I enjoy traveling, attending concerts, reading, participating in community theatre, and trivia. 

• I have been at MCHS my entire career (26 years) in education!

• I was a Spanish Teacher before stepping into this new role as Graduation Coach. Having  12th-grade students in my classes led to involvement in Senior Class activities such as Graduation Ceremony, Graduation Walk, and Senior Bash. I am excited to continue to work with students in these areas and many more! 

• I have been working as a Graduation Coach for 7+ years at Mountain Education’s Murray Campus, where I have been recognized at the local, district, and state levels. It is incredibly rewarding to see students reach their goal: GRADUATION.

• I love dachshunds, the sunshine, yelling GO DAWGS, and helping young people with their career goals/future plans!

• I graduated from LaGrange College with a Bachelors in Human Services. I received my Masters at Auburn University in School Counseling and finished my Specialist in Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University. 

• I’m married to Jessica Ashlock and we have three kids Victoria , Chris and Ayden . 

• I enjoy exercising, eating good food, watching Auburn football and hanging out with my Grandson Sebastian. 

• This is my 20th year in education and I have had the privilege to work in two great school districts in Whitfield County and Dalton Public Schools. I am thrilled to be a part of the team here at Murray and look forward to building strong relationships with our students, their families and our school community.
