If your life was a movie and the audience had been watching it all the way up to this point, what would they be screaming at the TV? What would they be telling you to do with your life? Would they be saying, “Oh my god! God, it is so obvious! Leave the job," or, "the killer’s in the closet!" Whatever it might be, what would that audience be screaming at you right now? I think that this is the best way to look at your life and to figure out a situation. If your life was a movie and you were the audience, what would you tell yourself to do? What would you want yourself to hear if you were watching that, what would you want the outcome to be? Some people can't see it from this perspective, but if you can, use it to your advantage! Life will throw twists and turns, but we are all yelling and screaming for you to just kiss him, stand up to your bully, or leave that one toxic friend behind. Just like everything you watch or read, whatever you fancy, there's always a good ending if you’re willing to listen to the audience.
