Aubrey Kreisher became Muncy's, and Muncy High School's, first female Eagle Scout on February 22, 2026. The ceremony took place at St. Andrews Lutheran Church located in downtown Muncy.
The rank of Eagle Scout in the highest rank that can possibly be reached in Scouting America, formerly known as Boy Scouts. In order to achieve this rank you must complete all 14 eagle required merit badges, ending with a total of at least 21, complete the 6 ranks before hand and lead a service project that benefits not only the community, but a nonprofit organization. The rank of Eagle Scout is very rare only around 6-8% of all scouts that enter the program make it to the rank of Eagle Scout.
Aubrey's project focused on Rider Park located in Trout Run, Pa. Throughout this project she planted over 125 native trees, created an information brochure, and informational panels all about the American Woodcock. All of the funding for her project came from a Student Grant that she won through PA Native Plant Society.
Lycoming County District Attorney Tom Marino handed Aubrey an offical letter of recognition for reaching the rank of Eagle.
