HOW TO APPLY

Application Process 

Step 1: Check Eligibility

- Review academic requirements

- Ensure you meet GPA standards

- Confirm grade level eligibility

Step 2: Obtain Application Packet

Application packets are distributed to eligible students in early February. Packets include:

- Application form

- Essay prompt

- Service hour log

- Instructions and requirements

- Rubric for evaluation

Step 3: Gather Documentation

Collect signatures and information for:

- Interscholastic activities (school-sponsored)

- Extracurricular activities (outside of school)

- Community service hours (minimum 25 hours)

**Important: Adult sponsors must sign for all activities. Parents/guardians may NOT serve as sponsors.

Step 4: Type Your Essay

Complete the required essay (500-750 words) addressing:

- Your understanding of the five pillars

- Specific examples of how you demonstrate the pillars

- Your future commitment to these values

- Personal reflection on their importance

Essay Requirements:

- Typed, double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman or Arial

- Include word count

- Attach signed Academic Integrity Statement

Step 5: Complete Application Form

- Fill out all sections completely

- Handwritten in ink by applicant [EXCEPT FOR THE ESSAY]

- Obtain all required signatures

- Review checklist for completeness

Step 6: Submit Complete Application

- Deadline: [TBD]

- Location: Guidance Office

- What to Submit:

  - Completed application form with all signatures

  - Typed essay with Academic Integrity Statement

  - Service hour log with verification

  - All materials in one packet

**Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.**
