Birthday celebrations are important to your child, and will be acknowledged this school year. However, please note that food/edible treats are not permitted. Instead, here are some options that you and your child can pick from to celebrate his/her special day:
Your child can bring his/her favorite book to school to read to the class. If the book is a lengthy chapter book, your child can simply read 1 or 2 chapters from the given text.
Your child can also give each classmate a "goody bag" containing party favors that are not edible.
We will sing to each child too!
