ACT Prep Class - Attention Juniors. Homestead will be offering free ACT Prep review sessions to help you prepare for taking the ACT in March. Today, March 3rd is the math kickoff! This session will be held in the Collab Zones from 2:55pm-4:25pm. Stop in the counseling office for more information and to sign up.
France Trip - Attention French students! We're traveling to France in June 2027! There will be an informational meeting Tuesday, March 10th at 5:30pm in Collab Zone West. Parents and guardians are welcome as well. See Madame if you have any questions.
Spread the Word Day - Hi Homestead! This week, on Wednesday, March 4th, it is Spread the Word Day. This day is dedicated to showcasing the impact of inclusive language and actions so that the discrimination of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities can come to an end. This day is significant, so we're asking you all to join us in spreading inclusion. You can start today by pledging using this LINK! If you have any questions about making your pledge, you can contact Caroline Oberneder at oberncr@students.mtsd.k12.wi.us. Additionally, we have a poster hanging up in the HUB where you can sign your name to show your commitment to inclusion! To further promote this day, we will be having a spirit week this week, March 2nd-6th.

Summer Job Opportunities - Are you looking for a summer job? The Rec Department has openings for the T-Ball program and Swim Lesson Instructors. Check out more information below:
T-Ball: The Recreation Department is seeking interested individuals who would like to work the T-Ball program this Summer. The candidate must possess a high energy level and outwardly show enthusiasm for children. T-Ball applicants must know the game of baseball and the general rules of the game. Pay is $15/hr. If interested, please pick up an application in the Athletic office. Applications must be returned to the Athletic office NO LATER than April 3, 2026.
Swim Instructor: The Recreation Department is taking applications for interested candidates for Summer Swim Lesson Instructors at the Mequon Pool. There will be 2 sessions of swim starting the end of June through July and times are from 9am – Noon. Candidates must be 15 years of age. Pay is $14/hr for swim instructor, $16/hr for lifeguard certified, and $17/hr for WSI certified. If interested, please pick up an application in the Athletic office. Applications must be returned to the Athletic office NO LATER than April 3, 2026.
Scholarship for Senior Athletes - The Homestead Booster Club is proud to announce the 2025-2026 Student-Athlete Scholarship to be awarded to HHS senior student-athletes who are current members of the HHS Booster Club. Up to Four (4) Scholarships, valued up to $1000, will be awarded to HHS senior student athletes, recognizing: • Contributions/Volunteerism to the HHS Student-Athlete Community • Excellence and Leadership in Athletics • Excellence in Academics All applications must be completed and submitted to the HHS Counseling Office by 3:00 PM on March 26, 2026. NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED! Scholarship winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony in May. Scholarship applications are in the HHS Counseling Office.
