BSSEF Research Study - Students are invited to participate in a BSSEF research study on polarization and group discussion. The session will be held after school on Wednesday, February 18th from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Mr. Schueller’s room. Participants will respond to a topic, take part in a structured small-group discussion, and complete a short follow-up survey. Participation is voluntary and responses are anonymous. Volunteer Opportunity - The Mequon-Thiensville Community Foundation is seeking volunteer graphic support to assist with creating Canva documents, PowerPoint presentations, and fillable PDF forms. This flexible, project-based opportunity allows volunteers to contribute remotely as needs arise throughout the year. Projects may include designing invitations, one-page project summaries, slide presentations, PDF response forms, and other visual materials that help communicate our mission and support community initiatives. Individuals with an eye for design, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with Canva, presentation software, or document formatting are encouraged to get involved. T-Ball: The Recreation Department is seeking interested individuals who would like to work the T-Ball program this Summer. The candidate must possess a high energy level and outwardly show enthusiasm for children. T-Ball applicants must know the game of baseball and the general rules of the game. Pay is $15/hr. If interested, please pick up an application in the Athletic office. Applications must be returned to the Athletic office NO LATER than April 3, 2026.
Swim Instructor: The Recreation Department is taking applications for interested candidates for Summer Swim Lesson Instructors at the Mequon Pool. There will be 2 sessions of swim starting the end of June through July and times are from 9am – Noon. Candidates must be 15 years of age. Pay is $14/hr for swim instructor, $16/hr for lifeguard certified, and $17/hr for WSI certified. If interested, please pick up an application in the Athletic office. Scholarship - Scholarship for senior athletes! What is the Driven at Heart Scholarship Contest?
Cousins Subs, along with the brand’s partner, Donald Driver, will honor WIAA high school senior athletes who demonstrate academic excellence, sports leadership and community involvement, with a chance to win up to $7,500 in scholarship funds for continuing education.
Entry Dates: February 1 – 28, 2026
First Place Prize: $7,500 scholarship awarded to one male and one female athlete
Runner-up Prize: $2,500 scholarship awarded to one male and one female athlete • Finalists:
Four finalists will be selected by the Make It Better Foundation Committee, including Donald Driver and reps from the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame by the end of May 2026.
Each of the four finalists is required to attend the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame 76th Anniversary Induction Ceremony in July 2026, or an alternative event planned by Cousins Subs if the induction ceremony does not take place for any reason.
Each of the four finalists will receive a travel stipend of $100 and hotel accommodations for the student and up to two adult family members for the evening of the event.

Any Wisconsin high school senior graduating in 2026, with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, participation in a WIAA-sanctioned sport, and involvement in civic and/or community organization(s) or activities during their high school career.

Scholarship for Seniors - The Hagan Scholarship is a need-based merit scholarship for goal-driven seniors. The students' parents' 2024 Adjusted Gross Household Income must not have exceeded $125,000.
