NAHS - Greetings NAHS members!  Join us in I Wing Zone 1 after school this Monday to start hanging Gallery Night! Get a preview of the show and earn service hours! 

 

Senior Speeches - All seniors interested in writing a graduation speech must attend a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, May 1st in room 301. Please see Mrs. Cicero if you have any questions. 

 

Play - Pride and Prejudice is happening this weekend, April 26 and 27 at 7pm and April 28 at 1pm.  Come follow Elizabeth and Darcy as they navigate Regency England.  Need a boost on your AP Lit studying?  Come watch this AP book in action!!  Tickets on sale at GoFan.

 

Volunteers Needed - Do you want to see Pride and Prejudice for free?  Come Usher for the spring play and get service hours!  Help out this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Click the link to sign up or see Figg in the Black Box theatre. 

 

AP Test Takers - Attention AP students : AP testing begins in less than 2 weeks. This is a good time to do a few things to avoid issues:

1) Check in College Board to make sure you know what tests you are signed up for,. Also look at the test schedule that was sent to you, or get one from the Counseling Office.

2) If you have an afternoon test, make arrangements (job, travel) - remember end times are APPROXIMATE

3) Make a note to yourself in your phone to remember your calculator and ruler if needed. There may not be backups available. 

 

Students taking a digital exam: Make sure Bluebook is on your Chromebook and working. If not, go to the I Wing on for help. 

 

Dance Team - The Dance Team coaches are hosting an informational night here at Homestead in the Highlander Cafe from 5-6pm on Monday, April 29th. Learn more about the team, ask questions and hear from members of the team. Drinks and snacks will be provided! They hope to see you there!

 

Varsity Dance Team Tryouts - Interested in being a part of the Homestead Varsity dance team? Now is your chance to tryout! Tryouts are scheduled for Tuesday, May 21st from 4:30-6:30pm and Wednesday, May 22nd from 4:30-6:30pm. To help prepare students for tryouts, the dance team coaches are hosting an optional clinic on Saturday, May 11th from 9am-11am for any 6th-12th graders to learn more about the team and what skills will be assessed at tryouts. Senior Dinner - Senior Dinner is happening on Sunday, June 2nd at 6pm in the HHS Cafeteria.  Tickets can be purchased on GoFan and cost $24.  Tickets must be purchased by May 22nd.

 

Scholarship Opportunity - In order to provide educational opportunities for future generations of science scholars, Thermo Fisher is offering $35,000 in scholarship funding to undergraduate students through the scientific antibody scholarship. Seniors apply HERE.
