National Honor Society: The 1st National Art Honor Society Meeting for the school year will be held on Wednesday 9/30 from 2:45 - 3:15 in Studio 611 (Ms. Hustedde's Room). Snacks will be provided. If you are unable to attend due to a prior commitment, please complete the "NAHS Attendance & Request for Excused Absence Form". Boys Basketball - Any freshman boy who is interested in playing boys' basketball this year, please come to a brief informational meeting on Monday, September 28, right after school at 2:45 pm in Mr. Crider's room 212. The meeting will not last longer than 10 minutes.
College Rep Visitors: Attention Juniors and Seniors! Representatives from colleges will continue to be visiting the counseling office all of October. Some of the colleges visiting include: University of Iowa, Drake University, Marquette University, Ripon College, Georgetown University, Princeton University, Washington University of St. Louis, UW- Milwaukee, UW-Whitewater, and UW-Madison. Dance Team Fundraiser - October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the dance team is raising money to support the Susan G. Komen Foundation, which funds breast cancer research and awareness. You can join in by purchasing a t-shirt for $15, available at both lunches all week. All proceeds will go directly to the foundation, and donations are welcome, too. Quantities are limited, so be sure to get yours before they’re gone!
