Students will be assessed formatively on their vocabulary by their contribution to the vocabulary words that are displayed on the word wall.
Vocabulary will be further assessed through the writing activities in their weekly free write wherein they are required to include at least one vocabulary word from the word wall, the assessment tool for this could look like a weekly checklist i.e. did they include a word wall word? Check yes or no.
