Part I: FAST Research Access Limitations

  1. Only the Principal Investigator of the project has access to the project fund balances in FAST research.

          • This means that roles such as research assistants will not be able to view the project within FAST.

  1. FAST Research access cannot be delegated, so a research assistant cannot be delegated access from a Principal Investigator.

  1. Deans, chairs and directors for their faculty or department who have a higher access authority in their home department will also not get FAST research access.

  • If you have this higher access authority and require details for a project, please contact orscefinance@mtroyal.ca for a copy of the project statement.

If none of the above applies to you and you do not find your project funds, organizations, accounts and programs (or FOAP) number in FAST Research, please contact orscefinance@mtroyal.ca.

Part II: Who To Contact about FAST Errors

If you see an error or are not sure about a specific transaction that you see in FAST research, contact ORSCE immediately at orscefinance@mtroyal.ca.
