My name is Myrna Laham and I am completing my Bachelors of Education at Mount Royal University. I am also minoring in humanities with great excitement to become an elementary teacher.
I knew I wanted to become a teacher at a very young age. Growing up with my mom as one of my biggest role models, she inspired me to pursue teaching since she had done so herself. She was not only the best parent, but also the best teacher I could have ever had. I hope to one day be as strong and successful as her.
This PLP is designed to demonstrate my goals and accomplishments, and will continue to be updated as I continue learning. You can learn more about my growth by navigating through this site!
Teaching Goals and Aspirations!
My main goal is to teach in a classroom where all students feel welcome and confident enough to participate in activities with their peers. I would like to help all student view school as a safe place where they can experience acceptance and love from other classmates. I would love to experiment with different teaching techniques in order to encourage all students to try their best. By doing this, I will be able to create an exciting environment filled with determination and perseverance.
