Adventures Abroad
One of my favourite things to do is travel. Whether I am flying to a different country or driving an hour away, I am always up for a new adventure. During my summer between grade 11 and grade 12, I decided I would love to travel abroad. I had chosen to travel to Costa Rica for a month. While on this trip I was in an english class while also experiencing amazing adventures. I was able to witness amazing views, volunteer with communities, and expand my knowledge in a way that a lot of people do not get to. I always love learning in new ways and cannot wait to apply this into my ways of teaching.
I am fascinated by the sky. Whether it is day or night, as soon as I step outside I look up. I find that there is nothing so calming yet intriguing than the sky. The colours of sunsets, serenity of clear skies, and organization of constellations brings me more joy than anything in the world. Every time I am stopped in my tracks by the sky, I take a picture and send it to those closest to me so they can enjoy it almost as much as I do.
My Educational Experience
Although I do have a passion for education, it is not my only passion. I have recently graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. While I was at SAIT I was enrolled in the Primary Care Paramedic Program. It was during this time that I realized I don't want to just stop there. I discovered I have a passion to help people and guide them in the best way possible. It was due to this discovery that I decided to enrol at Mount Royal University. I took my passion and turned it into a goal. I will acquire multiple educations and be able to support those around me as much as possible. I learnt many valuable lessons and qualities throughout my time in this program. I was placed in field and able to meet many people who had the most amazing stories to share.
