ASSC 2025 is Sold Out! Interested in ASSC 2026?
West Residence at MRU
In advance of the conference, our conference committee is pleased to offer either 2 or 4 bedroom apartments in the University’s West Residence. Conference attendees wishing to book MRU Residence should do so by May 1.
2-bedroom apartments
Fully furnished, self-contained living spaces with a full kitchen and a living room. Apartments have lockable bedrooms, each with a double bed and bathroom.
Rate: $76.30 per night per bedroom ($152.60 per apartment)
4-bedroom apartments
Fully furnished, self-contained living spaces with a full kitchen and living room. Apartments have individual lockable bedrooms with a twin bed. Two full bathrooms, each shared between two persons.
Rate: $59.95 per night per bedroom ($239.80 per apartment)
Apartments also include linens, towels, basic kitchen items, and free high-speed WIFI.
Parking is NOT included in the accommodation rate and is available for $5 per day through the HotSpot app. Instructions on how to use the app will be attached to the confirmation email once you book. Payment is made at the residence desk during check-in, where a tablet is available, and staff are on hand to assist. Guests will need their license plate information.

Conference attendees also have the option to reserve accommodations off-campus. For this year’s ASSC, the nearby Grey Eagle Event and Conference Centre is available.

The Resort is a 20-minute walk from Mount Royal University and we are looking into arranging for unscheduled shuttles (13 passengers) between the resort and MRU.

Delegates Staying In MRU Residence
Residence guests can purchase parking for $5 daily through the HotSpot app. Payment is made at the residence desk during check-in, where a tablet is available, and staff are on hand to assist. Guests should have their license plate information ready.
Other Delegates
ASSC 2025 attendees should park in East Gate Parkade or MRU Visitor Lot 6A (behind the library). Parking in permit-only lots may result in ticketing.
MRU uses HotSpot for parking. You can download the app to your smartphone. There is a special day rate for conference attendees of $5.00 plus a $0.35 fee paid to HotSpot. You can go to this URL, https://hotspotparking.com/tapPoster/park/mrutemp6, or scan the QR code below. This URL and QR code can only be used to make a parking payment that starts immediately. Guests can not scan it in advance to pay for a future date. If you are attending all three days, you will need to scan the QR code to make a payment each day.
