What is MHC Connect?
As part of the effort to consolidate content repositories on the Mount Holyoke College campus, we are combining the content on my.mtholyoke and offices.mtholyoke into a new website, connect.mtholyoke.edu. This was brought about as my.mtholyoke.edu’s software platform, SharePoint, has an official retirement date of July 2026.
We have chosen a distributed content model, allowing content owners to be responsible for the creation and maintenance of their content. This new platform is flexible, allowing users to create content that is internal or external with a robust search capability to support this model.
Our project is currently under development! Please review the project timeline for dates. Our anticipated launch date is June 22, 2026.
We will have both in-person training sessions as well as virtual training sessions. In addition, there will be training documentation, and a recorded session for reference purposes. Signups for training sessions will be available in Workday Learning.
If you have content on offices.mtholyoke.edu, please review your content and take the following steps:
Select who the intended audience is so we can be sure they will have proper access to the content.
Select if the content should be external (for wide audiences no need to log in) or internal (requires log in and only for the MHC community).
Select which action to take: move content as is, delete outdated content, or edit the content. If you choose edit the content, please make note of the edits. (Can be a Google doc in the notes column if there are a lot of edits.)
Content on offices.mtholyoke.edu will be moved over by the Office of Marketing and Communications staff in May. Any content that has not been reviewed and has not had the steps above completed, will be archived.
