Individual Card Rewards: How do they work?
The Bottom Line: ICRs of rares and mythics are usually worth pursuing. Uncommons are usually not worth pursuing unless it requires very little effort, or unless it comes with other rewards on top.
But Why?
Arena often gives out ICRs for all sorts of reasons. They can be prizes for doing well in events; they are given out for racking up daily wins beyond the fourth; they are given out for leveling up through the Set Mastery and Mastery Pass tracks.
Rare ICRs have a 1 in 8 chance of upgrading to Mythics when received. Uncommon ICRs have a 1 in 8 chance of being upgraded to Rares. This also means that Uncommon ICRs have a 1 in 64 chance of upgrading to Mythics. (Mythic ICRs cannot be upgraded).
