The College admits students from different races, culture, religion, and economic status observing policies which are anchored on the student’s qualifications. Part of this group are international/foreign students.
The College has set policies of requirements and admission process for international/foreign students. Assistance on enrollment, housing, Filipino tutorials, and adjustment to culture are provided for them, when needed.
Tytana has been resolute in promoting gender-inclusivity. The College took initial steps in bringing gender perspectives into its fabric. The Tytana GAD Focal Point System was instituted in 2016. Since 2018, Tytana has intensified its GAD efforts by conducting seminars on gender discrimination, sexual harassment, HIV awareness, Safe Spaces Act, and the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Expression Equality (SOGIE) Bill with professionals and subject-matter experts as resource speakers and trainers. In addition, an All Gender Restroom was put in place to serve the needs of anyone regardless of their gender identity, expression, and needs.
Anchored on Tytana's Gender and Development Framework designed by the Special Services Department, the Code of Conduct and Implementing Rules and Regulations on Sexual Harassment (RA 7877 and RA 11313), Other Forms of Sexual Misconduct, and Inappropriate Behavior was designed and issued to all members of the academic community. The orientations conducted to all students and employees are necessary to make the community understand what constitutes sexual harassment, allowing for a creation of safe space for all learners and employees.
As part of Tytana’s commitment to promote equality and diversity, the College aims to provide an inclusive learning and working environment where students and staff of all religions and beliefs, or who have no belief, can thrive.
When possible, appropriate services are provided to meet the cultural and religious needs of all staff and students, Tytana being a non-sectarian higher education institution.
The Multi-Faith Prayer Room, located on the second floor right wing, is available to those of all faiths and none. It is a space to pray, meditate, reflect, and find quiet.
The Special Services Department provides tailored services for students with special needs, ensuring inclusive and accessible educational experiences. These services include individualized support, adaptive learning resources, and specialized counseling to help all students thrive academically and socially.
The College also provides tuition fee discounts for Solo Parents, members of Indigenous Groups, and Persons with Disabilities.
The College does not offer on-campus dormitories but provides a list of nearby residences for students' convenience.
However, these housing options are not accredited by the College. We strongly encourage students and parents to personally inspect and evaluate these facilities before making any arrangements.
