October 2024 Activities

One of the institutional agendas of the Manila Tytana Colleges is to create institutional pride and identity. It aims to produce graduates with an edge – the Tytana edge. That is why Tytana designs and plans programs to equip its students with values, skills, and training that will prepare them for any work environment when they graduate.

Through the revitalized services of the Student Affairs and Services Directorate, students would be encouraged to adopt a self-directed and planned approach to all-around development.

The Student Affairs and Services Directorate (SASD) provides overall leadership in planning, organizing, administration, and supervision of units such as the Student Development and Activities Department (SDAD), Guidance and Counseling Department (GCD), Student Discipline Department (SDD), and Special Services Department (SSD).

Vision | Creating holistic and meaningful student learning experiences

Mission | The Student Affairs and Services Directorate provides programs and services, engages the students, and cultivates a culture in which all students can thrive.

The 6 Cs

Manila Tytana Colleges builds on core values that strengthen the sense of the Tytana identity.

We provide a caring community of competent scholars and professionals that empowers creative thinking and expression within a committed environment. As Titans mature and develop, they will become culture-adaptive individuals in a society that enables them to maintain a competitive advantage

SPECIAL Framework

The educational thrust of Tytana revolves around the six (6) core values that make a Tytana graduate stand out from the rest of the field, anywhere in the world. The SPECIAL Framework will complement the General Education Program wherein soft skills will be developed. It aims to develop each Titan's whole self.

SPECIAL stands for Social Development, Physical Development, Ethics, Career Development, Intellectual Development, Aesthetics and Culture, and Leadership.

The Student Development and Activities Department is responsible for the many out-of-the-classroom facets of student life at Tytana.

The Department is divided into three sections: Development and Leadership; Sports and Athletics; and Scholarships and Financial Aid. The Department leads the management of the College Student Council, College Student Publication, Recognized Student Organizations, Athletics Program, and Scholarship Program of Tytana.

Committed to fostering growth, the department offers a range of services designed to help individuals understand and maximize their potential, make informed decisions, and navigate personal and interpersonal challenges.

Through professional support and tailored strategies, the Department aims to enhance student well-being, facilitate skill development, and contribute to overall success in their academic journey and personal pursuits.

Aside from taking the role of investigators and decision-makers in the behavioral actions caused by the non-followers of the provisions of the Student Manual, the SDD also offers seminars, campaigns, and fora that forward good norms.
