Education 490: Integrative CORE, Spring 2025
This is a required seminar for all student teachers and senior field placements. The purpose of the seminar is to help students become reflective practitioners in their classrooms by critically analyzing practices in the field and comparing them to theoretical understandings. Previous coursework will provide the basis for students to synthesize and integrate theory and practice. Prerequisite: EDUC 435 , LIBA 301.

Title of Preesentation: Digital Teaching Portfolio
Project Description: Throughout my time at Mount Aloysius College, I have had the pleasure of creating a digital portfolio that highlights my skills as a teacher, specifically planning, professional development, community involvement, and my overall learning experience. This portfolio has a variety of artifacts that have been gathered over the years, especially during student teaching. This portfolio is designed based on Charlotte Danielson’s Framework of Education.

Title of Presentation: Maya Capozzoli's Digital Student Teaching Portfolio Presentation
Project Description: This portfolio presentation highlights my career within the Education Department and showcases my student teaching experience. It is thoughtfully aligned with the Charlotte Danielson Framework for Teaching and features a variety of materials, including lesson plans, hands-on activities, unit plans, and meaningful artifacts from my time in the classroom.

Project Description: This presentation highlights the meaningful growth and service contributions developed through my student teaching experience at the elementary level. Over the course of my placement, I worked closely with mentor teachers to plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction in core subjects. Through daily interactions with students, I gained hands-on experience in classroom management, differentiated instruction, formative assessment.
