Forage -- Virtual job simulations from top employers. The simulations last from an hour or 2 to around 8 hours. These simulations are created by big companies and mimic the work that a student might actually do if they were working for that company/in that industry. It's a great way for students to build skills and learn more about employers/career options. (Just as some quick examples, Teach First has one on "Transferable Teaching Skills" and Mastercard has one on "Cybersecurity". Forage also has a whole section designed for faculty/educators to connect these experiential opportunities into your coursework. Sarah Kordish has a contact with Forage if anyone is interested in doing a demo or getting connected. Here's a link to the educators page: https://education.theforage.com/
Parker Dewey -- Students can create a free account and apply for various micro internships (lasting from a few hours to a few days). Employers post projects that they need some help with and students can apply to get the work. The positions are competitive to get, and paid. Handshake has a feature called Experiences that can be used to track student experiential learning.Â
