Special Topics in Foreign Language Teaching

FLT 841 Special Topics: Sociolinguistics & Spoken Language, was the last course I took before graduating. It was possibly the most difficult and complex course I had taken, because it pushed me to think about the sociolinguistics of language, which I hadn't thought much about before. Throughout this class we talked and learned about the language we use in our classroom, the language our students use, variations of language around the world and much more.
