Hello and welcome to my MAFLT portfolio page! My name is Trisha Funk, and I am a high school Spanish teacher in Okemos, Michigan and currently teach Spanish 1 and Spanish 2. I completed my undergraduate degree at Central Michigan University with a Masters in Spanish and a minor in mathematics, and also spent four months in the amazing Dominican Republic. I knew I wanted to pursue a master’s degree eventually and was elated when I found this program through Michigan State University. I am currently finishing this Foreign Language Teaching program, and plan to be done in May of 2021. I am very excited to show you all that I have learned through my three years of studies. This portfolio site will show you a compilation of items and assignments that I completed through the many amazing courses that MAFLT offers. You will find cultural lessons, lessons that use technology, and assessments that I have created and have actually used in my classroom.
Within my teaching portfolio, you will find a variety and summary of assignments I have completed for the MAFLT program. My teaching styles and practices have greatly improved because of this program, the professors and the content we learned.
