As part of the technology course, FLT 881, we were instructed to create a module for online learning that students could complete asynchronously at their own pace. I worked with three other students in my class to create a module surrounding vocabulary about school subjects’, schedules, and classes. Through this project I had to research various technology tools in order to see which tool would be most effective for what I needed. To present my lesson asynchronously I used NearPod. It allows you to create an interactive PowerPoint that students can work through at their own pace and feel like they're learning in a sequential matter. Next, I researched Quizizz and found out that it could be very useful for homework practice and or an assessment at the end of the unit. Finally, I decided to use a Google form to allow my users/participants (fake students) to give me feedback on the technology tools that I designed and implemented.
