Macomb County 4-H Club Community Service Award
How to Apply
The Macomb 4-H Club Community Service Award recognizes a club’s members and leaders for outstanding effort to improve their community and increase community awareness of 4‐H. Applicants should describe what club members and leaders learned as they worked together toward a common goal. The community service performed must primarily benefit people who are outside of 4‐H. All participants must be registered Macomb County 4‐H members or registered Macomb County 4‐H volunteers.
The deadline to apply for a Macomb 4-H Club Community Service Award is 11:59pm on September 30.
Age Requirements
Any 4-H club. Clubs should choose 2-4 delegates to represent them.
Club Delegates Receive
Up to five (5) club delegates will be selected for the Club Community Service Award. All delegates will be recognized at the awards and recognition event. Each club delegate will receive a certificate of recognition. Clubs should choose 2-4 delegates to represent them.
Club Awardee Receives
One (1) club award winner will be selected from the club delegates. The awardees will be recognized at the awards and recognition event and will receive a certificate of recognition and cash award. Each participant of the group will receive a certificate, while the cash award will go to the group as a whole.

Members should read all instructions carefully before starting.
It’s your story! The awards program is designed to provide 4-H members with recognition for accomplishments youth are already making in their project areas.
Before you begin, review your 4-H Record Books, past calendars that indicate 4-H meetings, activities and workshops attended and any other resources that might be helpful.
Information presented on the Macomb County 4-H Award application should be factual and concise.
Use correct grammar and spelling – you are representing yourself! Proofread your work.
Groups should answer the application questions from a group perspective
Application Instructions
Complete all 4 sections to the best of your ability.
Pay attention to the maximum amount of words for each section of the application.
Submit by 11:59pm on September 30. Late entries cannot be accepted.
Consider applying for a State 4-H Award! Now that this application is complete, you have a great start for the State 4-H Awards application process!
Applications will be reviewed and applicants will be notified of their status. All club delegates are invited to attend the 4-H Awards and Recognition Event. Invitations with the date will be mailed out in October.
